Soviet Union Postal History Collection 1923-41

Four three-ring binders housed in a box, three of them filled with exhibition style pages and one contains a dozen of files with unsorted covers and postcards. The total is about 330 items, including covers franked by complete sets: #269-72, 333-35, 336-38, 470-71, 485-86, 569-72, 583-88, 596 (two covers), 625-28, also #514-16, 531-32, 580-82 on one cover, blocks and multiples franking. In general all commemorative issues are presented on correspondences, several items with special cancellations, such as Philatelic Exhibitions, Pushkin Anniversary and etc., in addition 15 advertising envelopes, cover franked by Spartakiade label, two covers are bearing ?Removed from a Box? marking, three metered mailings, several covers with postage due markings. We did not remove stamps from original pages of the collection ? imperforated regular issue (#304-25), Anti-War Propaganda, Fedorov, two Moscow Subway stamps with Specimen overprints and many more. Soviet Union Postal History Collection 1941-1992

14 three-ring binders and four plastic crates filled with postal history items on exhibition style pages and in folders, also stamps on stockpages and in envelopes. The collection housed in four large boxes. The total is over 2800 covers and cards and thousands of mostly mint stamps, including about 600 items of pre-1961 period with premium franking: #858, 859, 909-10, 959, 1082a, 1284-88, 1360a, 1598-602, also early FDC from 1949, such as Radischev, Popov, Medical Academy, Press Day and etc., in addition 15 Diplomatic mailings, many nicely franked real commercial cards and covers. Most of the issued after 1961 stamps are presented on postal history items, among better: #2534, 3915a, Space, Animals, Sports and other topical issues on commercial and philatelic correspondences. Collection contains 19 apparently complete Year sets from 1964 to 1991 with missing 1968, 1974, 1987-88, and a lot of unsorted stamps from 1941-92. Insignificant defects are possible, generally great lot for continue or resale by show or eBay dealer
