The Sale of the Georg von Steiden Collection has been very successful with total realization over $300,000, which significantly exceeds pre-auction estimation.
Our traditional quartely Sale brought many great results especially for Asian (China, Japan, Korea and Vietnam) lots and Russian area material.
We thank all our clients who participated in this Auction.

These are several noticeable results from these Sales:

• Lot #194, Carpatho-Ukraine 1945, Uzhgorod postcard franked by three surcharged values, including "60" over "C.S.P." on 2fi red orange, VF, sold for $8,500 (commission of 12.5% is not included) against estimate of $400;
• Lot #1288, PR of China, Scott #628, 1962, Mei Lang-fan, souvenir sheet, NH with insignificant flaws, sold for $10,000 vs estimation of $5,000;
• Lot #1321, PR of China; Golden Monkey, right sheet margin block of four, NH, sold for $3,500 against pre-Sale price of $1,500.
• Lot #2381, Zemstvo-Soroki, Chuchin #11c 1898, 3k multicolored, light blue color is inverted, imperforated block of four, printed on thin paper, full OG, NH or LH, VF, sold for $6,500 vs estimate of $4,000;
