Outstanding Soviet Armenia Postal History Collection
1924-45, about 200 covers, postcards and stationery items, originated from Yerevan, Dilijan, Echmiadzin (Vagharshapat), Gyumri, Kajaran, Karakala, Karakilisa and many others, including small towns and villages, some from railway and train stations, mostly internal correspondences, but many items addressed to US, representing a dozen incoming covers or cards, most from Baku, Julfa and others. Vast majority has neat and detailed description on enclosed pages, variety of franking and postal markings some in Armenian, usual conveyance flaws mentioned, but did not detract, F/VF, Est. $1,200-$1,500
