1911 (September 3), postcard (view of Caspian Sea) sent from Volchansk (Kharkov Gub.) without paying postage to Pokrovskaya Sloboda, oval postage due "6k" marking was applied, addressee paying dues, received the card and forwarded it to St. Petersburg on September 6; it was by mistake additionally franked by 1k and 2k adhesives (according to Postal Regulations forwarding of correspondences was free of charge) and obliterated due oval, stamp of 2k was cancelled by different type of Pokrovskaya (Samara Gub.) "7.9.11" marking, while stamp of 1k was not cancelled, because overlapping the Pokrovskaya arrival marking, St. Petersburg receiver was not applied, still VF and definitely unique card, Est. $250-$300
